INGREDIENTS:
2 duck breasts, skin on, halved
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon thyme, chopped
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon sweet paprika
Salt and black pepper to the taste
1 cup beef stock
3 tablespoons butter, melted
1 shallot, chopped
½ cup port wine
4 tablespoons fig preserves
1 tablespoon white flour
DIRECTIONS:
Season duck breasts with salt and pepper, drizzle half of the melted butter, rub well,
put in your air fryer’s basket and cook at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes on each side.
Meanwhile, heat up a pan with the olive oil and the rest of the butter over medium
high heat, add shallot, stir and cook for 2 minutes.
Add thyme, garlic powder, paprika, stock, salt, pepper, wine and figs, stir and cook
for 7-8 minutes.
Add flour, stir well, cook until sauce thickens a bit and take off heat.
Divide duck breasts on plates, drizzle figs sauce all over and serve. Enjoy!
